What is Wunden?
Two proportions. Choose by presence, not gender.
Wunden is made in two proportions. Wunden I has a lighter profile for slimmer fingers or a quieter presence. Wunden II has a deeper signet face and broader, more substantial presence. Neither is designated for men or women: the choice is simply how you want Wunden to look and feel on your hand. Both are made to order in 925 silver, rhodium plated, and independently hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.
Lighter option
A slimmer signet and profile. Substantial on the hand without the full depth of the II. Suited to those who prefer a lighter feel while keeping the form complete.
From £1,075
Add engraving and a secret stone when you order.

Heavier option
A deeper signet and broader profile. A ring with genuine authority on the finger. Andrew made this proportion first. It carries the full weight of the form.
From £1,150

View Wunden IIWhy Wunden begins in silver
Wunden can be made in gold or platinum, but begins in 925 silver, a metal absent from Andrew's workshop for nearly twenty years.
Silver gives the ring the weight, depth and sculptural presence the design demands, while opening the first release to more AG clients. It is not a compromise. It is central to Wunden's character.
Rhodium platedEvery silver Wunden is rhodium plated to help protect its surface, resist tarnish and preserve its clean white finish.

Wunden in Gold & Platinum
Both Wunden I and II are available in 18ct yellow gold, 18ct rose gold, and platinum. Prices are confirmed on enquiry.
How do you personalise a Wunden signet ring?
Alternative engraving styles, family marks, stone-setting and symbols can be discussed with Andrew.
One ring. Two stories. One that started centuries ago at the hands of a goldsmith. One that begins the moment you choose.
Choose your Wunden Rune
Each Wunden signet can carry a single Rune from the Futhorc, the Runic writing system of Anglo-Saxon England. Choose the mark for what it means to you personally: protection, courage, journey, endurance, joy, or legacy.

"The wearer is not buying a finished story. They are stepping into one."

Why Wunden takes time
Wunden's proportions were resolved over months of design development. Once cast, each ring is independently hallmarked. Only then does the detailed handwork begin: refining the twisted form, completing its engraving and personal details, and applying the final finish. Each ring is made to order over 4 to 6 weeks.
The Idea
Resolved for balance, beauty & wear.
The Hand
Engraved and finished by master craftsmen.
The Object
Made for you and your story.

Frequently asked questions
Is Wunden available now?
Yes. Wunden is available to order now. Choose Wunden I or Wunden II above to order, then add your engraving and secret stone.
What metals does Wunden come in?
Wunden is made primarily in 925 silver, rhodium plated. Andrew can also make Wunden I and Wunden II in 18ct yellow gold, 18ct rose gold, and platinum. These precious metal versions cost significantly more because of the ring weight and current metal prices, so speak to Andrew before ordering.
Can Wunden be personalised?
Yes. Wunden is a personalised signet ring with several mark options. You can choose a hand-engraved Rune from the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc, two initials in a classic style or monogram, a blank face, or a hidden gemstone set beneath the signet. Other engraving ideas can be discussed with Andrew.
What if I do not want a Rune?
A Rune is optional. The signet face can carry two hand-engraved initials, stay completely blank, or wait for a mark at a later point. Wunden works as an engraved signet ring, a quiet blank signet, or a personal piece with a hidden stone.
Is Wunden a men's or women's ring?
Both. Wunden was designed as a unisex signet ring and is available in two proportions. Wunden I offers a lighter profile; Wunden II has greater depth and presence. Either can be ordered in sizes H to Z, so the choice is based on the hand and the feeling you prefer — not gender.
Can Wunden be sized?
Yes. Wunden is available in ring sizes H to Z. Andrew designed a sizing strip into the back of the ring, where the twisted profiles gradually straighten towards the base. This allows careful resizing without distorting the main twisted form or signet profile.
Will it be hallmarked?
Yes. Every Wunden ring is hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office before it leaves the studio. Hallmarking verifies the precious metal content, including 925 silver, 18ct gold, or platinum, and gives the finished ring an independent British quality mark for long-term confidence.
How long does a Wunden take to make?
Andrew makes each Wunden to order. The usual lead time is 4 to 6 weeks from order to delivery, depending on the chosen mark, metal, and hidden stone. This is not a stock piece. It is made once, to your specification.
Is Wunden part of the Treowth collection?
Yes. Wunden is the second piece in the Treowth series, an ongoing body of work drawn from the Anglo-Saxon relic that Andrew and his son Arthur uncovered in 2025. Goldwin was the first piece. Each stands alone and connects to the whole.
