The timer below marks the launch:
Almost a year ago, my son Arthur and I were on a metal detecting and bonding trip when we uncovered something unexpected. As the soil was carefully removed from a gold-coloured object, everything went quiet. It became clear we had found something of real importance. The intricately crafted relic is what we believe to be Anglo-Saxon, made by highly skilled artisans, and still a mystery in its original purpose. As a jewellery designer, finding something like this was impossible to ignore. It became the starting point for Treowth — an Old English word meaning faith, loyalty, and trust.

Arthur and I, wrapped up against the classic British drizzle, set out for an adventure. It wasn’t just about treasure hunting, it was about our bond and making it stronger. It seems that the father-son relationship today is more important than ever, so to create an unforgettable memory in between the mud, laughter and tears, was pretty much priceless in many ways.

The discovery itself was only part of the story. The trip was really about time spent together and embracing a shared fascination with history. What followed the find was not a sudden design decision, but a slow process of reflection as the significance of the object and the craftsmanship behind it began to sink in.
