Description

The Goldwin sapphire is perhaps one of the most anticipated of the ranges - the striking and repeating blue contrasting hypnotically with the precious metals. As with all the Goldwyns, the sapphire band explores rhythm rather than symmetry. Part of the Treowth Collection, its design emerged from the discovery of a small Saxon gold relic by Andrew and his son Arthur – a fragment of time that has created a wealth of inspiration and mystery.

Instead of a single focal stone, the Goldwin uses sequence. A measured run of sapphires set into gold creates movement around the finger, revealing subtle shifts in colour and light as the hand turns. The result is a modern sapphire ring that feels grounded, tactile, and quietly assured.

For those encountering Treowth for the first time, this piece is not a historical replica. It is a contemporary response to ancient form.

DESIGN & FORM

The Goldwin is sometimes described as a sapphire eternity ring, but its structure is intentionally more fluid. The spacing between stones, the sculpted metal, and the rhythm of repetition give the ring visual lightness rather than continuous brilliance.

This makes the design easy to live with. Worn alone, stacked, or paired, it reads as a sapphire band ring, but with a depth that goes beyond the category.

FULL SET / HALF SET OPTIONS

The Goldwin sapphire ring is available in two configurations of 2mm stones:

  • Full set – a continuous sequence of sapphires encircling the finger
  • Half set – stones set across the upper face for balance and comfort

Those familiar with traditional terminology may recognise the half set as similar to a sapphire half eternity ring. Here, the emphasis remains on proportion and wearability rather than convention.

Both versions are designed to sit comfortably and integrate naturally with other rings.

Each Goldwin is handcrafted in your choice of 18ct gold or platinum. The sapphires are selected for depth, tonal harmony, and life, then set with precision to preserve the rhythm that defines the design.

The majority of AG pieces are made in the UK, and we also work with a trusted Portuguese workshop. All of our suppliers are members of recognised industry bodies that promote ethical trading. We use trusted UK and international partners to source the finest materials, and all our diamonds come from suppliers who comply with the Kimberley Process.

We’ll guide you through every stage – from your first idea to the finished piece. It begins with a conversation and unfolds through sketches, stone sourcing, and ultimately the creation of your one-of-a-kind design.
Do you ship internationally? +
Yes – we ship worldwide. Please note that if you're outside the UK, duties, taxes, and VAT may apply and will be your responsibility. If you’d like an estimate or advice, we’re happy to help.
What if I don’t know the ring size? +
No problem. If it’s a surprise, we have discreet ways to help you find the right size. If it’s not a surprise (or for yourself), we’ll be happy to guide you. Just get in touch – we’re here to help.
What is your warranty and returns policy? +
We take great pride in our craftsmanship. If a manufacturing fault arises within 12 months, we’ll repair the piece free of charge. This doesn’t cover wear and tear, accidental damage, or loss – but we’re always happy to assist with repairs or servicing. Most of our pieces are made or adjusted to order and are non-returnable. However, if there’s a concern, please contact us – we review every case individually and always aim to support you. Unworn cufflinks may be returned within 90 days in their original condition and packaging. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
