The Goldwin ruby ring sits at the meeting point of ancient rhythm and modern design. Part of the Treowth Collection, it was conceived after the discovery of a small Saxon gold relic by Andrew and his son Arthur – a fragment of time that has created a wealth of inspiration and mystery.
Rather than placing a single stone at the centre, the Goldwin explores sequence. A measured run of rubies set into gold creates a sense of movement around the finger, catching light differently as the hand turns. The result is a modern ruby ring that feels grounded, tactile, and quietly expressive.
For those encountering Treowth for the first time, this is not a reinterpretation of the past. It is a contemporary response to it.
DESIGN & FORM
The Goldwin is often compared to a ruby eternity ring, but its design is deliberately more fluid. The spacing, proportions, and sculptural metalwork give the ring a lighter visual rhythm, allowing each stone to breathe rather than forming a continuous band of uniform brilliance or colour.
This approach makes the Goldwin easy to wear daily, whether chosen as a statement piece, a companion ring, or part of a layered stack. It reads as a ruby band ring, but with far more nuance than the category suggests.
FULL SET / HALF SET OPTIONS
The Goldwin ruby ring is available in two configurations of 2mm stones:
- Full set – a continuous sequence of rubies encircling the finger
- Half set – stones set across the upper face and more of the ring.
Those familiar with jewellery terminology may recognise the half set as similar to a ruby half eternity ring, though here the focus remains on balance and wearability rather than tradition.
Both options are designed to sit comfortably on the hand and pair naturally with other rings.
MATERIALS & CRAFT
Each Goldwin is handcrafted in your choice of 18ct gold and platinum. The rubies are selected for depth of colour, life and consistency, then set with precision to maintain the rhythm that defines the design.
This is a ruby gold ring intended to be worn, not kept for occasions. The metalwork is robust, refined, and finished by hand to ensure longevity and comfort.

GOLDWYN FAQS
Is this an eternity ring?
The Goldwin shares similarities with a ruby eternity ring, particularly in its use of repeated stones, but its spacing and sculptural form place it firmly in the realm of modern design rather than traditional eternity styles.
Is the Goldwin suitable for everyday wear?
Yes. The ring has been designed for comfort and durability, whether chosen as a ruby band ring or a statement piece worn alone.
