ABOUT ANDREW

Andrew Geoghegan has been designing jewellery since 1998. Not selecting it, sourcing it or curating it. Designing it.

His ideas often begin where you least expect them. Astronomy. Architectural geometry. A roaring fire in a remote French chalet. Even an Anglo-Saxon gold discovery made while metal detecting with his son Arthur. What matters is what those ideas become.

Alongside the ideas sits an enduring fascination with craftsmanship. Andrew's obsession with the art of gem-setting and precision has shaped every collection he has created for more than twenty-five years.

The result is a body of work that has earned the British Jewellers' Association Designer of the Year Award, Professional Jeweller Collections of the Year - winner three years running, and a place in Liberty London. Andrew's unique engagement rings and fine jewellery are worn and collected by clients seeking pieces with a distinct point of view.

Each ring is hand-set under a microscope and finished by hand in the UK. Questions about a ring go straight to Andrew, and he answers them himself.

Costeira Diamond Strata, from this eagerly anticipated collection, stands proud in form and precision. The rings are distinctive and striking alone, or layered together as in the Strata pictured here to create an intriguing interlocking formation. Each comprises a mesh of perfectly shaped kite frames, each enclosing a pair of meticulously micro-set stones. Modern and daringly different, Costeira, the Portuguese word for coastal, breathes adventure into every day, as if catching the light of the sun while dancing in the tenacious Atlantic winds.

Each individual ring is available fully or half set: please enquire for prices on half-set rings. When layered together, the collection becomes a look so wonderful and full of power.

SPECIFICATION:

Fully set. Four separate rings, each made in precious metal holding bright white diamonds. Pictured with two in platinum and one each in 18ct yellow and 18ct rose gold. The stacking image shows only this combination, although other variations are available. To view and buy the rings separately, visit the Costeira Diamond Band.

COLLECTION OPTIONS:

The sensational Costeira is available in a host of precious stones set in platinum, 18ct rose or yellow gold. It can be a full or half-set band, or a plain band. Other collection pieces will be developed throughout the year.

FAQ

Who is Andrew Geoghegan?+
An award-winning jewellery designer, my journey began in a humble garden shed – today I create inspired, unique and beautiful pieces for clients across the world, each one a testament to technical mastery. I split my time between the UK and Portugal, drawing inspiration from nature, life experience, and ancient artefacts. Read more in the About page.
Where are the pieces made and are the materials ethically sourced?+
The majority of AG pieces are made in the UK, and we also work with a trusted Portuguese workshop. All of our suppliers are members of recognised industry bodies that promote ethical trading. We use trusted UK and international partners to source the finest materials, and all our diamonds come from suppliers who comply with the Kimberley Process.
