In 2025 I created one of my favourite wedding rings to date. The ring symbolised a relationship through two rivers of precious metal flowing across its surface. The rivers tapered, twisted, crossed paths and separated again as they travelled over a bed of stone-textured gold.
It was unlike anything I'd designed before. The clients loved it. I loved it and after sharing the ring on social media and my blog, another client got in touch. She wanted a version created for her husband. Not a copy, but a ring inspired by the same idea.
The consultation process is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job. We chat, nothing formal, just like friends talking about how the relationship began, the important moments, the challenges overcome together, what love means to them and what makes their story unique. From those conversations I begin creating the rivers, starting with sketches and then paintings.
Imagine seeing your relationship translated into flowing lines of gold, platinum and texture. A story told not with words but through form. Every ring is different because every relationship is different. The result is deeply personal, completely unique and, if I may say so, rather beautiful.
